Written from a child’s point of view this little book explains a complicated medical condition in a wonderfully simple way. The clever usage of mirrored surfaces enables children to compare each others differing features in a fun, interactive way. Early test runs have shown it to be a very successful tool in explaining HED not only to other children but also to their parents and teachers.
Having three boys with HED herself, the author Tarja Kelly wrote this little story in the hope that it will help make the lives of other families just like hers a little less complicated.
MY BOOK IS PRINTED AND HERE FOR SALE.
The books cost AUD$6 each and are available via email from myself. Postage is AUD$4 for one book and will increase with weight. I aim to keep postage at a premium and will always quote the lower amount. The proceeds of the books will be divided to repay the charity who helped me print the books and a small portion will go to my boys’ Trust fund for education.
